People…are talking about: Liza Soberano

People…are talking about

Liza Soberano

She made all heads turn during the recently concluded ToyCon Manila where she greeted everyone wearing a Darna shirt. In fact, even Hollywood stars that graced the event were mesmerized by her extraordinary charm.  It’s not the first time though that some big names took a special liking to Liza so it’s not surprising that even Vogue website took notice of her beauty.

Manny Pacquiao

As expected, everyone turned into a sport analyst when he stepped ino the boxing ring on Sunday. While it’s clear how the Pambansang Kamao dominated the bout, the official result said otherwise – a decision legitimate boxing analysts had already expected. People know why Manny had to return to the ring, he’s a hypocrite if he would say it wasn’t for the money. We would admire him if he would just focus on his political career because he was voted to perform his duties with an undivided attention.  We hope losing to Jeff Horn would finally make him hang those boxing gloves.

Sanya Lopez

In a recent interview, she was very candid on her struggles as a newbie in showbiz. She recalled her being an “extra” who was even banned to enter the tent designated for talents. Fast forward, Sanya is now one of the rising stars on GMA Network. Her hard work and perseverance start to pay off now as a lead star in a new soap.

People…are not talking about

MMFF 2017

The annual film festival is never out of controversy. And, for the longest time, people have been criticizing it for its commercial interest rather than upholding artistry, originality and creativity. Though people understand that it’s really hard to find the balance between quality and box office revenue, it’s a shame that almost every year, the MMFF ExeCom can only come up with films that disrespect moviegoers’ intelligence.

Kim Chiu

Behold, she has just finished recording an album and it will be out soon to make our ears bleed profusely. How is it possible for an audio terrorist like Kim is given the chance to hold a microphone to sing? Obviously, her home network is fond of people who only look good holding the microphone. While it hosts a number of good singers, it is also home to singer wannabes who struggle with even the most elementary nursery rhymes.

Xian Gaza

Who is? The billboard guy! That’s the name of the young businessman who spent some big bucks for a huge tarp erected on Morayta just to invite Erich Gonzales for a coffee date. If they knew each other, like really close, that’s nothing but a sweet gesture. But if it’s coming from a stranger, who has a strange history of celebrity stalking, that’s downright creepy. No wonder, every day, stranger things are unearthed about this guy who obviously wanted to have his 15 minutes of fame.
