Angeles City—All major and secondary roads here would be illuminated with solar lights by October 2024.
This is in line with the initiative of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. to promote sustainable and eco-friendly environment, as well as for the safety and security of his constituents.
Lazatin’s chief adviser IC Calaguas said that at least 1,500 solar lights have been purchased by the city government.
“This has been the commitment of the Lazatin administration to promote renewable energy,” Calaguas said.
The city engineers office, headed by Helen Ayro, has started preparations for the installation of the solar lights.
