Actress and singer Janella Salvador marks her much-anticipated music comeback with the release of “headtone,” a sultry single that heralds her “artistic evolution” upcoming concert.

The single is part of the album, which contains a total of six songs. The actress was hands-on with the production of the album and even wrote one of the songs. Singer Moira dela Torre also contributed a track.

Launched in March, “headtone” is a Star Music release that captures the simmering tension of waiting for a passionate encounter with a lover. The song serves as a perfect introduction to Janella’s plans to showcase fully at her upcoming concert, Janella Reimagined: The 10th Anniversary Concert.

“I feel like many people still don’t know that I’m a singer. Many people know me more as an actress, and I feel like there are so many sides to me that people haven’t seen. This is why we named it Reimagined, ‘cause we wanna challenge people’s imagination that I am more than what you imagine,” said Janella.

The concert, happening soon at the New Frontier Theater, will feature special guest appearances by Martin Nievera, Jane De Leon, Marlo Mortel, Darren, Jenine Desiderio, Arizona Brandy, Brigiding, Lady Morgana, and Miss Jade So
