Celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque already broke up days after speculations circulated on social media, according to television host Boy Abunda.
The renowned media personality confirmed the news Tuesday during his “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” program, expressing his sadness over the separation.
Abunda shared that he often had heartfelt conversations with Alonzo about their lives, relationship, and marriage plans, and was taken aback by this development.
At present, it is confirmed that Dominic and Bea have parted ways, though communication lines remain open between the two.
“As we talk today, yes, Dominic and Bea have separated,” said Abunda.
Citing reliable sources, Abunda also mentioned that the couple is striving to understand each other during this difficult period, but the outcome remains uncertain. He expressed his hope that they find what is best for them.
“As a matter of fact, Bea and Dominic talked to each other last night. They’re trying to understand each other but they’re going through a rough patch,” he added.
The TV host also addressed various rumors surrounding the breakup, including the speculated prenuptial agreement, and the location of their wedding. He appealed for kindness and understanding from their fans, emphasizing that details of the situation are not fully known.
Despite the challenges, he mentioned that Bea was committed to salvaging the relationship, and he called for compassion toward the two.
“The narrative about Bea being the problem that caused their separation is not true. As far as I know, directly, Bea wants to save this relationship. Bea wants this to work,” explained Abunda.
Alonzo and Roque became engaged in July 2023 at the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City. The couple had been in a relationship since 2021. They recently traveled to Sapporo, Japan during the holidays and sealed a love padlock in Mount Mowa.
