According to Alden Richards, he is very excited about the projects he will do under his own company Myriad Corporations in 2024.
“I have lots to do next year. I will have concerts here and abroad. I’m also scheduled to do an international movie to be shot in New York. It’s under a foreign production,” he revealed.
“The movie is part of a trilogy. It is an advocacy film. It highlights women empowerment and women’s rights. With these, my schedule for 2024 is full,” Alden went on.
With this scenario, how can he possibly face his love life?
“Honestly, I’m not the type who can juggle between my love life and showbiz career. At present, I can’t afford to have a girlfriend considering my hectic schedule. When the time comes though that I’ll fall in love, I will lie low in the scene.”
Why is it so?
“It’s not easy to balance your professional and personal life. For example, if I have a partner, it’s unfair to the girl if I don’t have quality time for her. If I come to the point that I like to settle down already, I should be prepared to leave my work,” he explained.
Alden emphasizes the importance of prioritizing family in his life choices, expressing a desire to be actively involved in witnessing and participating in his future children’s formative years.
Drawing inspiration from other celebrities who temporarily step away from the spotlight upon settling down, he envisions a similar trajectory for himself—taking a hiatus and potentially returning to the entertainment industry once his family life is stable.
Regarding his future romantic partner, Alden remains open-minded, stating that he cannot definitively choose between someone from the entertainment field or a non-showbiz individual, preferring to let fate determine his ideal match.
“I can’t say as of now. Come what may. You see, if I pick one from the ‘biz, there will be conflict. There is something that will be compromised. So, I can’t really choose. I will just wait for that right girl,” ends Alden.
In an Instagram post, Megastar Sharon Cuneta urged netizens to stop linking her with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion after their successful concert Dear Heart.
She clarified that their relationship is strictly professional. Sharon emphasized that they hadn’t been in touch since the concert, living separate lives due to significant differences. She expressed gratitude for their fans but hinted that the Dear Heart concerts might be their last collaboration.
“Oooooookay everyone. Please ‘listen.’ I understand that so very many of you Sharon-Gabby fans are thinking, or hoping that we are ‘back together’ in some way or another. Reality check: We have not been in touch since our last concert, we do not talk, text, or see each other. We are living totally separate lives and whatever has been going on in mine, he has absolutely nothing to do with, and vice-versa,” he post said.
“I know that the concerts brought all of you back to happier times, but there IS a reason why we have not gotten back together since we broke up in 1987. He is my eldest daughter’s Papa and so he will always be a part of my life and history – but that’s about it. We just couldn’t, cannot live together because we have very, very little in common,” she carried on.
Sharon also pleaded with those spreading negativity to leave her children out of it, emphasizing their need for privacy.
