Winford Manila Resort & Casino (WMRC) proudly presents multi-platinum recording artist Dingdong Avanzado, aka the Prince of Pinoy Pop, and his band The Doorbells live in concert every Thursday (beginning tonight) on September 8, 15, and 22 at WMRC’s Hippodrome Bar & Lounge entertainment hub at 8:00 p.m.
Avanzado burst into the limelight in 1987 and instantly gained a following owing to his musical talent and boy-next-door image. Soon afterwards, his songs “Ikaw Lamang” and “Tatlong Beinte Singko” became instant favorites on the airwaves, leading him to earn multiple gold and platinum record awards.
Two decades later, Avanzado and his fellow recording artist wife, Jessa Zaragoza, earned the distinction of becoming the very first Filipino married couple to release an all-duet OPM album entitled Laging Ikaw.
In 2019, Avanzado participated in the Green and Go concert alongside other OPM icons such as Gary Valenciano. Randy Santiago, and Ogie Alcasid. Just last year, he joined the judging panel of a popular television singing competition show and continues to perform for Filipino audiences not just at home, but around the world.
WMRC invites guests to witness Dingdong Avanzado perform some of his most well-loved hits. General admission to this next normal concert experience is free, with VIP seating near the stage available for a P500 cover charge, inclusive of food and drink.
Hippodrome Bar & Lounge is located on the second floor of the 22-story resort and welcomes fully-vaccinated guests aged 21 years and above.
