Albuera Mayor Espinosa presents himself in Camp Crame

Albuera, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr. showed up at PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Camp Crame on Wednesday afternoon.

He gave no statement to newsmen when asked about the 6 men who were killed during a police operation on Wednesday morning in his compound in Barangay Binulho.

Meanwhile, the Bureau of Immigration reports, the Mayor’s son, Rolan ‘Kerwin’ Espinosa left for Malaysia on June 21.

He was on board a Cebu Pacific flight.

The younger Espinosa’s departure took place 9 days prior to the inauguration of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The mayor and his son are linked to illegal drug trade in Eastern Visayas.
