He also endorsed Duterte-Carpio and the rest of the UniTeam slate ahead of the start of the campaign period for national candidates in the May 9 elections.

“Many have been asking who the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will support and perhaps now is the right time for me to declare who we have chosen,” Quiboloy said.

“One hundred percent, I am supporting the UniTeam, including our beloved Davao City mayor who is running for vice president under the UniTeam BBM-Sara and their senatorial slate.”

“I am telling you: this team will have a landslide win in the coming elections and I pray that we all join the UniTeam,” Quiboloy added.

Quiboloy mentioned how he supported Duterte-Carpio’s father, President Rodrigo Duterte, as he praised the clan for turning Davao into a “model city” in the Philippines.

He said the elder Duterte has created a “template of leadership” that should be followed.

During the send-off, Quiboloy prayed over the lady mayor and her team for a safe ride around the country under the “Mahalin Natin ang Pilipinas” caravan.

Duterte-Carpio, chairperson of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), thanked Quiboloy for his support and prayers.

The presidential daughter underscored that the caravan symbolizes patriotism.

“We hope this will highlight our call for us to rise again as one,” Duterte-Carpio said.
