Centuria Medical Makati has learned about SMS messages and supposed advertisements claiming that coronavirus vaccines approved by regulators are now available in their facility.
“We seek to clarify that this information is false and did not originate from our institution. Unfortunately, a vaccine for COVID-19 is not yet available anywhere in the world,” said Centuria Medical Makati in a statement issued Monday.
Centuria Medical is one with the scientific community and the rest of the globe in hoping that a safe coronavirus vaccine will be available for all soon, it added.
“As the largest and most comprehensive outpatient medical facility in the country, we have been actively operating throughout the community quarantine as our contribution in the fight against COVID-19 with strict protocols,” the statement read.
“With our locators and specialized clinics, we stand by our commitment to uphold high standards of safety and excellence in health, wellness, medical and dental care. We will also continue to operate our wide roster of COVID-19 testing options,” it said.
