Camp BGen Vicente Lim, Calamba City – Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces presided over his first command conference as the new Regional Director of Police Regional Office Calabarzon at this camp over the weekend and ordered a surprise drug test on the officers who attended.
“All PDs (police directors) throughout Calabarzon will conduct drug testing in their ranks to ensure that there are no drug users in the PNP (Philippine National Police),” Gaces added.
The Regional Director was briefed on the current peace and order situation in Calabarzon through the presentation of different Regional Staff and the operational accomplishments and future activities of the regional police.
During his guidance meeting, Gaces called on the support of everyone under his leadership as PRO Calabarzon “ushers a safer and more secure environment.
“As a family, let us work together,” he said.
Gaces said his plans and programs are aligned with those of the new Chief PNP, Gen Benjamin Acorda Jr.
“Let us always do the right thing and let us hate crimes and fight criminals,” the Regional Director said, echoing the guidance of the new Chief PNP.
