EEI Power Corp., the power subsidiary of EEI Corp., signed a deal for the construction of a 145.2 kilowatt-peak solar PV rooftop system with Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital (DDVMH) in Mayombo District, Dagupan City.

The solar rooftop project, comprised of 264 units of 550 watt-peak monocrystalline photovoltaic solar panels, is expected to produce an average annual energy output of 183,680 kilowatt-hours.

It is also projected to curtail carbon emission by about 128 metric tons annually, or equivalent to planting 2,150 trees.

The solar PV system is estimated to save DDVMH up to P20 million in electricity expenses over its 25-year lifespan.

“It is our privilege to have been given the opportunity to partner with a well-respected healthcare institution like Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital for this environment-friendly initiative which aligns with our dedication in providing accessible and cost-effective solutions,” EEI Power general manager Salvador Salire Jr. said.
