Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) is launching direct flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) Thailand from Manila starting July 16.

The flights will operate thrice weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. This will increase CEB’s flight frequencies between Manila and Bangkok to 17 times weekly.

CEB president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said Bangkok remains a popular destination in Southeast Asia due to its pagodas, cuisine, and cultural festivals.

“We are excited to bring more travelers to this beautiful city as we launch our operations in DMK, in our commitment to continuously provide accessible and affordable air travel to every Juan,” Lao said in a statement.

The airline currently operates between Manila and Bangkok through Suvarnabhumi Airport twice daily.

Bangkok is one of CEB’s first international destinations, launching its maiden Manila-Bangkok service in 2006.
