Vice President Leni Robredo, who is running for President, acknowledged a netizen following her Facebook live broadcast despite that person backing presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential bet Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
In a recent FB live session, Robredo interacted with netizens and reacted to their comments.
A netizen claimed they were supporters of Marcos and Duterte, but said, “Mabuhay, we love you, God bless us all.”
“Thank you so much and that you are following me on our Facebook live even if your candidate is different. And thank you for not being discourteous,” she said.
Meanwhile, Robredo and the late Commission on Human Rights Chairperson Chito Gascon have been honored by the Equality Champ Awards this year for their contributions to the advancement of LGBTQI rights and welfare in the Philippines.
The Equality Champ Awards is a biennial nationwide search for individuals and organizations championing the rights and welfare of LGBTQI Filipinos.
