Tacloban City—Eastern Visayas police director Brigadier General Ronaldo De Jesus led the inauguration of the new P5.4 million police station in Motiong, Samar, boosting the administrative and operational capabilities of the law enforcers in the town.

NEW STATION. Brigadier General Ronaldo De Jesus (second from left) unveils the marker for the new police station in Motiong, Samar as he thanked Mayor Renato Cabael and other local officials for their “partnership” in the building’s construction.

“The relationship between infrastructure development and organizational growth has not gone unnoticed. We cannot claim to have improvement in our level if we fail to address inadequate and dilapidated infrastructures,” said De Jesus during the turnover ceremony on Tuesday.

“The implementation of this project has complemented the envisioned modernization of the Philippine National Police facilities,” he added.

The improvement of structures and facilities “is to enable the personnel on the ground to deliver high standard of service to the public and to enhance its offensive strategies by acquiring advantageous position against the enemies,” the general said.

Meanwhile, De Jesus thanked Motiong Mayor Renato Cabael and other local officials for their partnership in the construction of the police station.
