Smart home units, sky gardens, an e-vehicle charging facility, and modern built-in appliances in every unit await future residents of Megaworld’s soon-to-rise 54-story residential condo in Uptown Bonifacio
Anticipation and excitement continue to go up in Uptown Bonifacio, property giant Megaworld’s 15.4-hectare township development in Taguig City, particularly following the company’s recent launching of its sixth residential condominium tower in the township, the 54-story Uptown Modern.
With future residents having the opportunity to choose from various unit layouts furnished with appliances and smart home technology, Uptown Modern will offer more than 1,000 units in varying unit sizes ranging from Studio with and without balcony (up to 49 square meters), One Bedroom with balcony (up to 83 square meters), Two Bedroom with Balcony or Lanai (up to 100 square meters), Two Bedroom Loft with or without lanai (up to 183 square meters), and Three Bedroom with balcony (up to 139 square meters).
All units at Uptown Modern will be equipped with wireless smart home systems that future residents can access remotely using a dedicated smartphone app. This gives them the ease and convenience of controlling several unit features, including lighting fixtures and other smart appliances in the living, kitchen, and dining areas, as well as the bedroom.
Each unit will each come with a digital lockset for the main door, inverter split-type air-conditioning units, induction cooktop with range hood, refrigerator, microwave oven, and washer-dryer. The bigger units will also come with built-in ovens.

Standing out as a feature of Uptown Modern’s façade are the six (6) sky gardens located on the 14th, 27th, 39th, and 47th floors of the tower. Each of these sky gardens, whose individual heights are equivalent to three floors, will provide future residents a place to relax, converge, and enjoy the outdoors. Aside from this, there will also be two (2) roof gardens located on the 39th and 47th floors.
The ground level of the tower will have its own retail shops, which will feature a distinct mix of shopping and dining outlets that will complement the nearby Uptown Parade.
Exclusive amenities will be located at the sixth floor of the tower, which include an infinity pool with jacuzzi and its own pool deck, kiddie pool with aquatic playground, daybed cabanas, Zen reading nook, gazebos, trellised lounge areas, outdoor function area, sunken lawn, activity lawn, children’s playground, and an outdoor fitness gym featuring a variety of energy-generating equipment.
Other amenities also include a function hall with its own lanai, an indoor fitness center, game room, music room, and daycare center. There will also be an expansive entertainment suite with a garden lanai, dry pantry, and a mini-bar where residents can also host parties and special events.
Responding to demands from emerging mobility solutions throughout the metro, Uptown Modern will feature e-vehicle charging facilities in all of its seven parking floors located at the basement and podium levels. This will be the company’s first residential condominium tower in Metro Manila to have this facility.
With sustainability being an integral component of its developments, Megaworld is integrating several green and sustainability features into Uptown Modern.
Aside from the e-vehicle charging facilities and energy-generating fitness equipment, the building will feature low flow rate faucets to promote water conservation, occupancy power sensors in hallways, LED lights in all units and common areas to help conserve energy, high energy efficiency rating for major equipment, a rainwater harvesting and reuse system, and its own material recovery facility.
Uptown Modern will also have 100% backup power for all units and common areas–a first-of-its-kind feature for a residential development in Uptown Bonifacio. This helps prevent any disruption during power outages or interruptions in all units.
Uptown Modern is scheduled for completion by 2032.
