Philippine Airlines on Monday rolled out its year-end sale for domestic and international flights to entice more passengers to travel.
The airline unit of businessman Lucio Tan said the year-end sale is available in all sales channels from Nov. 20 to Dec. 10, 2023.
It said that for domestic flights, the travel period starts on Feb. 1, 2024, with one-way base fares as low as P218. For International flights, the travel period begins on Dec. 1, 2023 with round trip base fares as low as $79.
PAL earlier said it carried 11 million passengers in the first nine months of the year, improving on the 6.4 million carried in the same period of 2022.
PAL said that in the third quarter, it carried 4 million passengers, up 54 percent from 2.6 million flown in the same period last year.
The airline posted a net income of $348 million (P19.2 billion) in the first nine months of the year, higher than $133 million (P7.2 billion) a year ago.
