SENIOR Citizen party-list Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes thanked Senators Lito Lapid and Cynthia Villar for pushing the the enactment of a measure enabling senior citizens and persons with disability (PWD) to vote early in local and national elections.

Ordanes underscored that it is high time to consider the health and physical condition of senior citizens while protecting their right to vote.

It is painful to seek the elderlies being pushed and shoved just to cast their ballots),” said Ordanes, chairman of the  House Special Committee for Senior Citizens.

I am very thankful to Senators Lito Lapid and Cynthia Villar who showed genuine concern for our senior citizens. I trust that more senators will support my bill,)” he added.

The solon also urged the government to establish a venue for cluster precincts accessible for senior citizens and PWDs.
