More than 860 residents participated in the contract signing and orientation for the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) program held by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the City Government of Caloocan at the Morning Breeze Elementary School and Buena Park.
The TUPAD program is an initiative by the DOLE in partnership with local governments to provide emergency and temporary employment to qualified residents.
City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan thanked the coordination of DOLE and the Public Employment Service Office(PESO) to create opportunities for the city’s displaced and underemployed workers and vowed his continued support of such programs.
The City Mayor also encouraged his constituents to continue taking advantage of the assistance provided by both the national and city governments.
