All nominees in the 14 categories of the 2nd Eddys (Entertainment Editors’ Choice) come together today at 5:00 p.m. at 38 Valencia Events Place for Nominees Night prior to the awards night in July.
The Nominees Night of the 2nd Eddys is in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), Globe, OneMega Group and Wish 107.5 FM station.
The officers of the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd), along with FDCP headed by Chairperson Liza Diño, will give out certificates of nomination. The nominees will then be interviewed aboard the Wish Bus.
Kapuso star Rhian Ramos will host the Nominees Night, which will feature performances from singers Dessa, Katrina “Suklay Diva” Velarde, and Hazel Faith.
Directed by Paolo Valenciano, the production is under Wish, while Globe Studios, headed by Senior Vice-President Yoly Crisanto, is major presenter.
In July after the awards night OneMega Group will lead the after-party called The Eddys Mega Party.
The Eddys by SPEEd honors annually the outstanding works, talents and creatives in the Philippine movie industry.
