The Social Security System conducted its second provincial leg of its intensified collection campaign against delinquent employers here today, May 4.
Under its Run After Contribution Evaders Campaign, SSS posted Show Cause Orders to delinquent employers in Dagupan City reminding them of their responsibilities under the Social Security Act of 1997.
SSS president and chief executive officer Emmanuel F. Dooc said that the six delinquent employers are guilty of non-remittance of SSS contributions of their employees and non-registration for SSS coverage.
“These two are the most common violations of employers under the SSS Law. Despite continuous reminder of their responsibilities, there are still employers who willfully and deliberately evade their obligations under the law,” said Dooc.
