Under Armour Philippines hosted a Thanksgiving party in a fun, unique way by holding a street basketball game at Ascott Makati with multi-awarded athletes and champions.
The media event coincided with the launch of the newest and only FIBA Accredited Basketball Court Hotel at Ascott Makati, right at the heart of the Makati business district.
Jervy Cruz of back to back champion Ginebra San Miguel, together with Robert Bollick, king of NCCA basketball, led the basketball exhibition game with the media members and they got to try the new threadborne apparel technology during the basketball game.
The top media basketball players will now have a new hub every weekend for basketball every Saturdays starting January courtesy of Under Armour and Ascott partnership.
Hidilyn Diaz gave her inspiring stories of her journey towards her World Championship together with Meggie Ochoa, who is a three-time world champion in Brazilian Jujitsu. They were joined by the countryís highest-ranked tennis player Casey Alcantara.
Diaz was recently named as one of The Outstanding Young Men of the Philippines awardees. She was chosen for excelling in the field of sports.
