The Best Friend
Mark Joseph Tam or simply MJ is the most talked about among the talents featured on the Valentine series of the fast food giant. Playing the martyr “best friend” in the first ad “Vow” he became an overnight sensation after the commercial breaks the Internet. Tam is a body building titlist and was a champion during the Mutant Bodybuilding Championship in 2014. The father of one actually ended up marrying his best friend in real life.
The Groom
The guy who just had a few second exposure in “Vow” is Matthias Rhoads. The 5-foot-10 Filipino American vlogger and fitness buff does some side jobs in modeling and acting. He used to work in finance and interested in travelling, cooking, music production, and branding using graphic design.
The former New Yorker was also among the featured men in 2016 edition of Cosmo Bachelors.
The nerdy cutie
The second ad entitled “Crush” features Enrico Cuenca. In the commercial, he plays the nerdy high school guy who secretly pursues a campus crush by giving her burger sandwiches. A nerd in real life, but dashing nonetheless, he is a graduate student of Film Criticism and Production Management at the California State University.
