Property developer Megaworld Corp. is expanding its residential condominium project in Makati City, the San Antonio Residence, with a new tower that would add 478 units.

Megaworld launched the 40-story San Antonio Residence along Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue corner Calle Malugay in San Antonio Village in 2015 with 487 units, which is now referred to as the ‘West Wing.

“San Antonio Residence’s West Wing is now 90-percent sold and we still continue to receive inquires about the project,” Megaworld vice president for sales and marketing for Makati Group Eugene Em Lozano said.

The new tower called ‘East Wing’ will feature the ‘Morning Sun’ units as most of the units will face the sunrise or East direction.  The tower will offer studio to three- bedroom (26 square meters to 93 square meters) units.

The project is expected to be completed by 2020 with total projected sales for both wings of P4.5 billion, making it one of the company’s biggest residential condominium developments in Makati.

“We are very happy with how San Antonio Residence is able to provide living spaces to a wider market -from millennials to young starting families.  The project offers diverse unit choices with flexible payment terms that are ideal for the goal-oriented smart investors,” Lozano said.

Megaworld is one of the biggest property developers in Makati, the country’s premier financial center, with a total of 27 residential and office towers.

Among the company’s residential developments in Makati are Greenbelt Hamilton in Legazpi Village and The Ellis, Three Central, Salcedo SkySuites and Paseo Heights in Salcedo Village.
