Receives Awards for Next-Gen Territory, CSR Initiatives

Ford Philippines is concluding the year on a high note, as it garners accolades for its Next-Generation Ford Territory and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs from esteemed media-led award-giving bodies.

The Next-Gen Territory has been honored as the Best Compact Crossover in the 19th Annual C! Awards by C! Magazine. C! Magazine commended the Next-Gen Territory, stating that it “has evolved exponentially to become a properly refined and matured compact crossover.”

The Ford Territory has consistently proven to be one of Ford’s most successful vehicles in the Philippines. In October alone, the Next-Gen Territory achieved over 5,000 unit sales, a remarkable feat within five months of its launch in April. Since its introduction in August 2020, the Ford Territory has recorded overall sales exceeding 25,000 units.

In addition to its exceptional vehicles, Ford’s Operation Better World (Building Healthy Communities) and Auto Mechanic Scholarship Program have received Platinum Awards in the Community Development and Education and Training categories, respectively, in the 6th Driven to Serve Awards presented by the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists (SPMJ). The Driven to Serve Awards acknowledges automotive companies and their commitment to making a difference in the communities they serve through diverse CSR initiatives.

The Building Healthy Communities program focuses on promoting self-sufficiency and raising health awareness through neighborhood educational programs, basic health services, and medical and dental assistance to partner communities.

Furthermore, since 2016, Ford’s Auto Mechanic Scholarship Program has supported over 130 students who completed the 15-month automotive technician program at the Don Bosco Technical Institute-Technical Vocational and Education and Training (TVET) Center in Makati City. Thirty scholars are expected to graduate in 2023, with over 70% of the graduates currently employed.

“We express our gratitude to C! Magazine and the SPMJ for recognizing our vehicles and CSR programs and acknowledging the impact they continue to have on our customers and communities. We are inspired to deliver value to our stakeholders in the years to come,” said Mike Breen, Managing Director of Ford Philippines.
