During their Christmas celebration last December 13, GAC Motor exclusive distributor Astara Philippines previewed two new models for 2024: the M8 and the M6 Pro MPVs. The M8 is a premium seven-seater van with a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and advanced features like a large infotainment touchscreen and comprehensive safety systems—among others. The M6 Pro, on the other hand, targets Filipino families with its spacious cabin, captain seats, and user-friendly tech, including Apple Carplay connectivity. The M6 Pro is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine and offers a comfortable driving experience. Pricing details for both models have yet to be announced by Astara, but estimates suggest the M8 could range from P3 million to P4.1 million, while the M6 Pro could be priced between P1.2 million and P1.6 million.
