Are you planning to travel this weekend? Take advantage of the best apps available to help you before you hit the road. With the help of technology, preparing for your dream travel can be done without sweat.

Here’s our handpicked list of best apps available:

1. TripIt. It seamlessly captures all the details of every trip in your device—from flight itineraries, tickets, hotel reservations and driving directions. Before you even get to your destination, you have everything in one place, making it simple to share your itinerary. All you have to do is download the app and sign up for your account. It’s available on Android and iOS.

2. Roadtrippers. This app provides the driving route and allows hotel-booking along the way. Perfect for that exciting road trip you’ve always wanted to take, Roadtrippers can be downloaded on Android and iOS. The software lets users discover independently owned points of interest. It is especially useful for finding interesting places on the road, like cool restaurants and one-of-a-kind spots during the trip.

3. Kayak. As a travel website and an app, it allows you to book flights and hotels and helps you find the best prices. This fare aggregator and travel metasearch engine is available in 18 languages. It compares hundreds of travel sites for you to find the rate fit on your budget. The app is exclusively available on iOS.

4. Packing Pro. It organizes a checklist that breaks down what you’ll need in your travel backpack or suitcase. Just input in the app the where you are going, how many days your trip will be, and what the weather is supposed to be like. It has syncing and sharing options, a huge catalog, sample lists, display customization and built-in Expert assistance. The app, exclusively for iOS users, also reminds you of any important things you also need to accomplish before traveling.

5. San Bidet. You can’t help it. In the middle of the road, you might want to poop. San Bidet aims to save you by tracking down places that have clean restrooms and are equipped with the elusive bidet spray. The app is available on both Android and iOS.

Manila Standard

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.

Digital Edition

In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
