Velitario of Project Eight Initiatives Leads Repacking of School Kits for GMA Kapuso Foundation’s UHSK Project

The Project Eight Initiative showcased its unwavering commitment to community service as it actively participated in the repacking of school bags and supplies for the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan (UHSK) Project.

The event, held on April 27, 2024, at the GMA Warehouse in Culiat Tandang Sora Quezon City, saw the enthusiastic involvement of Project Eight volunteers, who worked tirelessly to contribute to the cause.

Led by Volunteerism Leader Ms. Michelle “Mitch” Velitario, the Project Eight team demonstrated outstanding teamwork and dedication throughout the event.

Assisted by Program Leads Edwin “Daddy Ed” Coquilla for ALS for Out of School Youth, Jasser June Cruz for Livelihood, Vhincel Donn “Vhince” Polinag for Youth Leadership, Loreta “Lorence” Caburnay for Fashion For A Cause, Geeian “Ghie” Gambala for Mental Health, Mary Cyril Lara on Motherhood and Rene “Rhen” Dimaano for Agriculture, the team efficiently managed the repacking process.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as volunteers eagerly sorted and packed school kits, each containing essential supplies for young learners.

Despite the challenging task at hand, the Project Eight team remained focused and driven, ensuring that every kit was packed with care and attention to detail.

Impressively, the team successfully produced a total of 365 school kits, surpassing expectations and making a significant contribution to the UHSK Project.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation coordinators commended the Project Eight Initiative for its remarkable efficiency and dedication, noting that the team quickly finished the given number of kits in no time.
