Enderun Colleges celebrated the legacy and birth anniversary of its former president, the late Dr. Edgardo Rodriguez, with a golf tournament at the Wack-Wack Golf & Country Club in Mandaluyong City last Jan. 18, 2024. The event gathered industry leaders, alumni, and members of the Enderun community.
Enderun Chief Operating Officer Daniel Perez teed off the Ed Rodriguez Memorial Cup, which was organized to showcase the skills and sportsmanship of participants across various industries. Beauty queens Alethea Ambrocio and Pauline Amelinckx hosted the activities.
The event featured prizes from sponsors like GolfX, VIP Golf, Nuat Thai, Hanabishi, and Kitchenaide. Major sponsorships from Discovery Primea, Acacia Hotels, Hilton Manila, Twin Lakes, and Picasso Boutique contributed gift certificates for hotel accommodations. Prime Edge Consultancy made a same day edit video to wrap up the activities followed by the awarding ceremony and raffle in the afternoon.
Perez underscored the student-led nature of the event, organized by Lux Lucis, Leadership Program, and Enderun Entrepreneurs Society. He emphasized how it symbolized a unique opportunity for students to grow as leaders while contributing to the Enderun community.
Dr. Rodriguez was honored for his commitment to innovation, collaboration, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. Additionally, the funds generated from the tournament will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability of Enderun’s student-athletes scholarship program, paving the way for future tournaments.
