Capt. Stanley Ng, COO and President of the Philippine Airlines, and Director David Ong graced and led the successful holding of the 75th PAL Interclub golf tournament’s seniors division at the Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club in Cagayan de Oro.
An active pilot of PAL, 44-year-old Ng holds the title of being the youngest president of PAL and the first pilot to hold the position since 1963.
Ong led the awarding of the winners in the seniors division and also hit the ceremonial drive kicking off the regular men’s tournament.
Leading the winners are the Del Monte Golf Club in the Championship Division, Orchard Golf and Country Club (Founders), Zamboanga Golf and Country Club (Aviator), Forest Hills Golf and Country Club (Sportswriter), and West Highlands Golf Club of Butuan (Friendship).
The 75th staging of the PAL Interclub is supported by diamond sponsors Mastercard and Asian Journal.
Platinum sponsors include Airbus, Primax Broadcasting Network, and Araw Hospitality while gold sponsors are Tanduay and Asia Brewery.
