“It's about taking care of ourselves and making sure we're getting ourselves ready," said Cone.

In their last outing, Scottie Thompson registered a near triple-double, coming up with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists.

Japeth Aguilar led with 21 points along with seven boards and two blocks.

Aljon Mariano contributed 17 and 11 for the Gin Kings, who enjoy a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs.

Ginebra ended the regular season with an 8-3 record.

The Elasto Painters came out of a three-game losing streak when they took the last playoff slot at 6-5.

"After we got the loss against NLEX, we had some doubts because we weren't making any shots during that game. So we just focused on shooting in practice. I told them to grind it out these last three games because we have three back-to-back games,” said Elasto Painters coach Caloy Garcia.
