Rivera finishes in USA cycling podium

Tokyo Olympics-bound Cory Rivera came up with podium finishes in the road and criterium events during  the 2021 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships in Knoxville, Tennessee over the weekend.

With Kendall Ryan, riding  for L39ION of Los Angeles, winning the women’s criterium, Olympic cyclists Megan Jastrab and Rivera of Team DSM settled for second and third places, respectively.

 Ryan took the gold with a time of  1:09:20.2, while Jastrab and Rivera both finished some 1.9 seconds behind the leader, according to official results.

 Jastrab will see action in the track event while in Tokyo, while Rivera will be in the road competition.
