Jose Rizal University and Perpetual Junior Altas defeated the San Sebastian Stags and the La Salle Greenhills Greenies, respectively, and were crowned champions of 3×3 basketball in the seniors’ and juniors’ divisions of the #NCAASeason99 3×3 Tournament on Saturday at the JRU Gym in Kalentong, Mandaluyong City.

The Junior Altas, composed of Louie Rosales, Icee Callangan, JD Pagulayan and bigman LeBron Jhames Daep of coach Gerald Dizon, ripped the Greenies,16-9, in the inaugural season of three-on-three basketball in the oldest collegiate league in the country.
Jonathan Medina of the JRU Heavy Bombers and Icee Callangan were named Season MVPs in their respective divisions.
The SSC-R Golden Stags received the silver medal, while College of St. Benilde Blazers settled for bronze in the seniors’ division.
The St. Benilde-LSGH Greenies settled for the silver and bronze went to the San Beda Red Cubs in the Junior Division.
