THIS February, a regional training center will rise in the province of Davao del Norte.

Philippine Sports Commission Chairman William “Butch” Ramirez said this will start their efforts in helping strengthen the development of athletes in the regions and at the grassroots level.

“With the regional center, they (athletes) don’t need to come to ULTRA and to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila to train,” said Ramirez as the agency celebrated its 27th anniversary last week.
