Directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, better known collectively as Daniels, will release their next film in 2026.

According to a report by entertainment publication Variety, Universal Pictures recently marked the date June 12, 2026, with “Untitled Event Film Directed by Daniels” on its release calendar.

Despite adding the film to its list of upcoming releases, both the studio and the directors have yet to reveal any information about it.

In 2022, the Daniels signed an exclusive five-year partnership with Universal Pictures following the success of “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” which grossed over $143 million worldwide.

The directorial duo’s award-winning film, “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” was released in 2022 and stars Michelle Yeoh alongside Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., and James Hong. It was distributed by entertainment company A24.
