Many fans of the Filipino girl group BINI have taken to social media to express their desire for the group to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. This follows the news that tickets for the girl group’s first solo concert, “BINIverse,” sold out within two hours of opening ticket sales, according to Star Music.
“WE’RE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS!!! #BINIverse_TheFirstSoloConcert will be a blast for sure with all the BL♾Ms and the Nation’s Girl Group @BINI_ph gathered in a musical haven,” Star Music said in its post on April 2.
The New Frontier Theater, the venue for the one-day “BINIverse” concert on June 28, only has a seating capacity of 2,385 which many fans argued to not be enough for the girl group’s growing fanbase.
Blooms have suggested either having a second day for the concert or conducting it on a bigger stage such as the Smart Araneta Coliseum, which can house up to 16,500 people. The demand for a bigger venue has led to #WeWantBINIverseInAraneta hashtag to trend on X as many Blooms hoped to see their idols perform onstage.
As of writing, no announcements have been made regarding additional dates or venue changes for the girl group’s first solo concert.
BINI is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. The group has recently been dubbed as the most streamed OPM female artist on Spotify.
