Korean boy group Seventeen delighted fans on Sunday, March 31, with an unexpected announcement during their “Follow Again” tour stop in Incheon, South Korea.

While a comeback was already anticipated sometime this year, the group surprised everyone by revealing plans for not just one, but two new albums this year.

The exciting news came from member Hoshi himself during the concert held at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.

“Let me say something out of the blue. We’re going to release two albums this year,” stated Hoshi which made the crowd roar and even surprised his fellow members for his sudden announcement.

But it didn’t stop there, as the group’s main dancer teased fans that an encore concert is about to happen also.

“And when the next album comes out, the encore concert,” he added.

The announcement doubled the excitement for Carats (SEVENTEEN’s fandom) who were already eagerly awaiting the group’s comeback.

While details on the concept or release dates for the albums remain unknown, the group is currently wrapping up the encore leg of their “Follow” tour.

It also marked the return of members SCoups and Jeonghan on stage following injury-related hiatuses.

In the upcoming month, the 13-member group is set to hold their “Follow” Again to Seoul concert on April 27 and 28 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. In May, Seventeen will journey to Japan for performances at Osaka’s Yanmar Stadium Nagai on May 18 and 19, followed by two nights of concerts at Kanagawa’s Nissan Stadium on May 25 and 26.

The tour followed their successful run of the original “Follow” tour across Asia in 2023, which included stops in Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Bulacan.
