ABS-CBN dominates streaming, primetime, box office with top titles

The country’s leading content provider has once again proven its ability to captivate audiences on a global scale. ABS-CBN shows and movies have achieved top rankings across major streaming platforms, dominated the local primetime TV landscape, and made waves at the Philippine box office.

On the streaming front, ABS-CBN has showcased its prowess, with four standout productions claiming the top spot on various platforms. Can’t Buy Me Love, featuring  Donny Pangilinan  and  Belle Mariano, claimed the number one spot in the Top 10 TV shows in the Philippines on Netflix. The pilot episode also gained 454,413 concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live.

‘A Very Good Girl’ star Katryn Bernardo

The thriller drama series  Linlang, boasting a star-studded cast that includes  Paulo Avelino, Kim Chiu,  and  JM De Guzman, has secured its position as the most-watched TV series on Prime Video Philippines after its successful launch on October 5.

The collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA,  Unbreak My Heart, led by  Jodi Sta. Maria, Joshua Garcia, Richard Yap,  and  Gabby Garcia, topped the Hottest Filipino Drama chart on Viu.

Senior High, a mystery family drama series starring  Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Xyriel Manabat, Zaijian Jaranilla, and other Kapamilya Gen Z artists, maintains its position as the most-watched series on iWantTFC.

Turning to primetime TV,  FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, starring  Coco Martin, continues to reign with an average national TV rating of 25.2 percent from October 9 to 13, encompassing urban and rural households, as reported by Kantar Media.

At the Philippine box office, Star Cinema’s  A Very Good Girl, featuring  Kathryn Bernardo  and  Dolly De Leon, has achieved a significant milestone, grossing more than P100 million during its third blockbuster week.
