As everyone knows, Richard Gutierrez is back on the small screen, not as Kapuso but as a newly anointed Kapamilya.

The handsome scion of the Gutierrez clan met the members of the movie press, surprising them with his lean physique and younger looking countenance, making one blurt out. “He would be the best looking vampire on the local screen. And if she encounters him even with his fans, she’d be willing to be bitten on her neck many times over.”

This half of the famous Gutierrez twins (the other is Raymond) is playing a vampire in ABS-CBN’s action romance series La Luna Sangre.

“I have always been curious how it is to work in ABS-CBN. I only hear great things about this network. Finally, now I’m here, I’m excited that I have been given the opportunity to work here,” Richard said during the contract signing on May 31 with the network’s COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, Star Creatives COO Malou Santos, Finance head for Broadcast and News and Current Affairs Cat Lopez, and his mother who is also his manager, Annabelle Rama.

Richard was tapped to play a vampire in La Luna Sangre, the series headlined by the top Kapamilya love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

Richard, in the series, is  Sandrino, the supreme vampire and long lost son of Magnus (Jake Roxas).

Now, what his connection is with the lives of Mateo (John Lloyd Cruz), Lia (Angel Locsin) and Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) is what the audience should watch out for.

La Luna Sangre is the third in a series of fantasy drama after Lobo and Imortal, both produced by Star Creatives.

Richard is also starring in a movie with Angelica Panganiban and former love team Angel Locsin for Star Cinema.
