In a recent media conference, teen actress Andrea Brillantes said that she doesn’t mind getting tired with her successive projects. After her latest soap opera Huwag Kang Mangamba wrapped up, she has two follow-up programs right away which can be seen in the streaming service iQiyi.
Andrea stars opposite her perennial screen partner Seth Fedelin in Saying Goodbye and Lyric and Beat.
“Actually, I like it better when I’m tired because of work rather than resting,” Andrea averred.
“Being a breadwinner, my family depends on me. One more thing, I have so many dreams since I was young. I want to fulfill them. As of now, I have lots of goals to realize. I’m the type who never gives up regardless of the stumbling blocks I face. Even if the road is bumpy, I still proceed just to make my dreams come true. I don’t know how to stop especially since I still have a long list of goals to fulfill.”
Does she have a time frame for accomplishing her cherished dreams in life?
“Perhaps, in the next ten years, I will be focused on my job in the ‘biz in order to realize them.”
Where does this leave her love life?
“I think I’m good at multitasking! Ha-ha-ha! But seriously aside, I already have a special friend in the person of Seth. I guess everybody knows that. I’m already contented with his company. I don’t think I’ll have suitors. I’m kind of an introvert. I don’t roam a lot in various places. In fact, many boys find me intimidating. Personally, I’m not looking for a boyfriend at this point,” she said.
“I’m already okay with my friendship with Seth. I’m happy that we get to work on many projects. Because of that, we spend lots of time together. I’m glad that he is supportive of me.”
Now, she treats Seth as a special friend. Many are curious if it will lead to something deeper eventually.
“Maybe…yes,” she retorted laughing. “Seth will be turning twenty next year while I’ll be 19. As of now, we’re just enjoying what we have. We just enjoy the time the Lord gives us like the moments we spend in doing our projects.”
“We really enjoy each other’s company. I’ve made it clear that he’s the one whom I like to work with and vice-versa. We’re just taking our time, so to speak considering that we’re still young,” Andrea ended.
