The reportedly Gabby Concepcion–Sharon Cuneta film project is pushing through this year.

This is according to our sources from Star Cinema who confirmed that it was included in their meeting last week, after the Darna project was shelved temporarily.

“Matutuloy na,” our source said and denied that Gabby and Shawie demanded for bigger talent fee.

“Script lang talaga yung ni-require nila pareho na dapat bagay na sa mga age nila at emote sa buhay,” our sources added.

Gabby-Sharon fans worldwide have been clamoring for a movie featuring the two. In fact some of them wanted KC Concepcion to be in it as well, but KC reportedly said “no” because she doesn’t want to cause any trouble.

“Besides, its them, their love team that is being requested by their fans/supporters. I will just be here and be very happy for them. I also wish na matuloy iyan if only for those fans who are still there, wanting to see them together even in a movie,” said KC in a related interview.

In fact, Sharon said her husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, had asked her a couple of times if she’d be comfortable about it. She’d  always reply, “Our fans deserve it. If I’d do it, it’s because I love my fans.”

There it is. We will just wait for it to happen as both Gabby and Sharon said, that they still have fans across the globe that wish their dream of seeing them on screen as the sweetest couple ever is fulfilled.

Speaking of Angel Locsin, she has plans of taking a break had Darna pushed through.

According to MJ Felipe who was with us last Friday in Mismo on DZMM Teleradyo, “May plano siyang mag-lay low kung hindi man mag-slow down sa showbiz to attend to other personal matters like business or even more personal ones.”

But God has other plans for her because the Pinay superhero role everybody is talking about is no longer hers.

This happened after her coach consulted her spine doctor when during their training he observed an imbalance with Angel’s shoulders and even her hips.

“Nakita daw kasi nung coach/trainer niya na hindi pantay ang balikat niya kapag may pinagagawang stunts sa kanya. Then, nung minsang pasubukin daw na pabuhatin ng weight si Angel, napansin ding hindi pantay ang bewang niya,” shared colleague MJ who did a report on Angel’s training.

The Darna role will require Angel not only to fly and kick and roll, but also to lift things especially Ding, a little boy who will be her sidekick.

“Kung sa training pa lang ay nahihirapan na siya, how much more sa mga ipapagawa sa kanya?,” asked the coach/trainerwho referred the matter again to her doctor.

Angel’s doctor advised, “If same thing would happen again (like the first time she had bone dislocation and slip disc), she’d have a hard time and recover for a long time.”

So, Angel’s plans to lay low from showbiz will no longer happen in the next year or two as ABS-CBN and Star Cinema have lined up projects for her like movies each with Coco Martin and James Reid and a soap of her own and the soon-to-be-seen “mothering” of Angel to Kathryn Bernardo who will continue their saga in La Luna Sangre (the Imortal series she starred in with John Lloyd Cruz).

And yes, we heard too that her personal life nowadays is being inspired by this very good-looking non-showbiz guy from a rich clan.

Winner!

It’s a good breather to watch someone like Ted Failon, humming some good notes and displaying his toned muscles and sharing his kakulitan on the morning show Magandang Buhay.

The hard-hitting broadcast journalist known for his toughness and serious commentaries on any issue in the government and its leaders showed his human side as he almost cried during his guesting in the said show.

His daughters and co-workers joined him in a segment that showed his being a father, boss, co-worker, and the naughty Ted.

He even sang with one of the hosts of the show, something unexpected from him.

“Paminsan-minsan naman dapat may ganun di ba? Nakakatuwa lang na sa likod pala ng tapang at angas ng isang Ted Failon ay meron itong soft side and talent na masarap panoorin. At hindi lang yun ha, talagang ipinakita niyang matikas siya at very healthy and fit sa edad niyang iyan. Nakakahiya naman sa mga bagets hahahaha,” reacted some colleagues, us included who saluted Kuyang Ted for his discipline and passion to look and feel very fit and sexy.

Hmmm…makapag-gym na din hahaha!
