Misters of Filipinas’ Lloyd Edwardson Figueras is now competing in the inaugural Mister Teenager Universe 2024 pageant, held in Bali, Indonesia, from Feb. 26 to March 2.
Figueras, Mister Laoag 2023, is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing student at Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas. He is also a model, radio broadcasting journalist, and tourism ambassador for his hometown of Laoag City.
Mister Teenager Universe, a world youth competition alongside Miss Teenager Universe, aims to promote the positive impact of youth on the global tourism economy of each participating country.
With 30 countries participating, the competition goes beyond just beauty. Aspirants will participate in various sessions, including International Diplomacy, a Fashion Parade, Personality Interviews, and a Cultural Night, where Figueras will showcase a national costume designed by Amor Albano.
The top three winners will receive cash prizes and bachelor’s degree scholarships from the organization.
“Feeling incredibly blessed and overwhelmed with gratitude,” Figueras said. “I couldn’t have done it without PEPPS unwavering support. I take pride in my hometown, Laoag City, and will continue to inspire other Laoagueños to pursue their dreams.”
Following the historic back-to-back win of reigning king RJ de Vera in Man Hot Star International, Lloyd becomes the second Misters of Filipinas King to compete abroad among this year’s batch of winners.

The Miss Philippines 2023 winners appointed
Empire Philippines’ The Miss Philippines queens, who were crowned in October last year, were given their respective titles during the recent “The Appointment’ ceremony held at Hilton Manila in Pasay.
Alethea Ambrosio, winner of the inaugural Miss Philippines 2023, was named Miss Supranational Philippines 2024. Blessa Ericha Figueroa was given the title Miss Philippines Asia Pacific International 2024, while Chantal Elise Schmidt was named Miss Eco International Philippines 2024.
Appointed Miss Aura Philippines 2024 was Isabelle delos Santos while the Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2024 title went to Hanna Uyan.
On the male side, Brandon Espiritu, winner of the inaugural Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2023, was appointed Mister Pilipinas Supranational 2024. The rest of the appointments were Dom Corilla, Mister Pilipinas Global 2024; Justine Ong, Mister Pilipinas International Ambassador 2024; Emerson Gomez, Mister Pilipinas Cosmopolitan 2024; Anthony Cunningham, Mister Pilipinas Man of the Year 2024; and Jordan San Juan, Mister Pilipinas Manhunt Supermodel 2024.
