Anntonia Porsild reunites with Michelle Dee in Manila

The gorgeous Anntonia Porsild, who nearly became Thailand’s third Miss Universe, flew into town on Monday to fulfill her duties with the Miss Universe Organization. Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee welcomed her at the airport, where a waiting crowd of fans went gaga over the 26-year-old former Miss Supranational.

Porsild, a Danish-Thai beauty, was seen as Dee’s fierce rival for the Miss Universe crown, held in El Salvador in November. However, during the competition, the two expressed mutual admiration for each other and became instant friends.

At the press conference held at Kao Manila Newport Resorts World, in Pasay City, attended by Jonas Gaffud and Voltaire Tayag, executives of Miss Universe Philippines organization, Porsild and Dee said that they were excited at what they were set to do together, but could not disclose about it as yet, assuring their fans that they will love and enjoy it very soon.

Meanwhile, the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 search is getting more exciting with the return of Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo. Now 26, the stunning beauty from Candelaria, Quezon, is dead set on winning the title this time which was denied to her by Catriona Gray in 2018.

PH’s Michelle Arceo wins 2nd runner-up in Reina Hispanoamericana

Model Michelle Arceo was named Second runner-up during the finals of the 32nd Reina Hispanoamericana, held in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia on Monday. Maricielo Gamarra of Peru, a model and television reporter, scored a back-to-back win, inheriting the crown from compatriot Arlette Rujel.

Fernanda Rojas of Venezuela was named Virreina Hispanoamericana, while the rest of the runners-up were Cynthia Moura of Brazil (1st), Bianty Gomperts of Curaçao (3rd), and Paula Andrea Alarcón of Colombia (4th).

The 25-year-old Arceo, who was born and grew up in California, USA, was the grand winner of GMA-7 Wowowin’s “Gandang Filipina” competition in 2017. She previously competed in Miss Environment International 2022, held in Mumbai, India, where she finished as 1st runner-up.
