New Tourism Philippines queens named

Miss Tourism Philippines 2023 crowned three new lovely titleholders during its finals night held before year-end at Aurora Park, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

Krishia Mae Abad, a 26-year-old graduate of Tourism Management from Tarlac City, was named Miss Tourism Philippines – Queen Worldwide 2023. 

Julie Mae Villanueva, a Pharmacy graduate and former candidate of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 from Cauayan City, Isabela, took the title Miss Tourism Philippines-Universe 2013.

Lourdez de Leon, 26, a Business Management graduate from Zamboanga Sibugay and a former candidate for Miss Philippines Earth 2022, was named Miss Tourism Philippines Ambassador 2023.

Runners-up were Kianna Viatriz Robstin Aban of Nueva Vizcaya (1st), Micah Ezra Tobias of Ilocos Sur (2nd), Ashley Palomata of Bataan (3rd), and Micah Castrence of Manila City (4th).

The pageant, which aims to help boost the local tourism industry, is headed by founder and president Amy Sunio-Abarquez, with partner Gareth Blanco.

Mrs. Philippines International 2024 kicks off

The initial set of candidates for Mrs. Philippines International 2024, the premier national pageant for married women, were presented during the Sashing Ceremony held recently at the Grand Ballroom of Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.

The grand coronation, which will choose the country’s representatives in Mrs. International, Mrs. Planet International, and Mrs. National Universe, among others, is set this March at Solaire Theater in Parañaque City.

Presented by 3Stars Productions, the event also launched Inspire Philippines Magazine’s 2nd edition, with Michelle V. Encarnacion, Elite Mrs. International 2023, on the cover. Headed by couple Maan and Roldan Aris, Mrs Philippines International, the pageant is open for single mothers, divorced, separated, or widowed applicants. `
