Earlier this March, Magkaagaw lead actor Jeric Gonzales released his newest single under GMA Music entitled “Line to Heaven,” which is a fresh take on the ‘90s hit by Introvoys.
The heartthrob shared how ecstatic he was to have his own rendition of the popular song, “It was a big hit in the 90s. So, for me to be given this chance to record it, it’s an honor. I’m a fan of the band so I was really surprised when I was told that I’d be re-recording the song.”
“Line to Heaven,” written by Paco Arespacochaga, is a heartfelt song and the actor has a deeper connection with it, coming from his personal experiences. When asked who would he dedicate it to, Jeric talked about his beloved late grandmother.
“I dedicate this song to my late grandmother because I miss her so much. I still can’t believe that’s already gone, if I would have a time to talk to her, to hug her, or even go to her, I would sing this song para sa kanya.”
The musical arrangement for “Line to Heaven” was made by Kettle Mata. Its performance video will be up soon on GMA Music’s official social media pages.
Currently, Jeric is brewing up an original song with the label. There’s a lot in store for him not only in acting but also in singing since he is very talented in songwriting and playing instruments.
