Thai superstar Bright Vachirawit confirmed his relationship with singer-actress Nene Pornnappan.
On April 21, a video of Bright and Nene walking together on one of the streets in Japan while holding hands had spread online, building speculations that the two were already in a relationship.
In response to the dating rumors, the actor took to his X account to clarify the true relationship between them.
“Hello, my beloved fans and friends. This is Bright. I know there is recent news that might have caught you off guard. I just wanted to clarify a few things, especially for my fans who are always so caring and curious about how I am doing—yes, we are really dating,” wrote Bright.
The “2gether The Series” actor also expressed his apology for shocking his fans with the recent news and shared that they had no intentions to disrespect anyone.
“Those who have followed me for a long time know that I always strive to be respectful and true to myself. My focus is always on spreading love and positivity through my work and dedication,” he added.
“I am incredibly grateful for everything that has shaped me into who I am today, and for all the love and support I’ve received. Thank you to all of you who continue to support and love me. It means a lot,” continued Bright.
The Thai singer-actor also describes Nene as “one of the most precious people” he had met.
“She makes me feel warm and safe every day we’ve been together. I hope you guys will cheer for us,” he explained.
On the other hand, Nene also confirmed the news through an Instagram post, apologizing for not sharing it with her fans sooner.
“So, about the recent articles—yes, I’m currently in a relationship. Sorry for not being able to share this with you earlier before it made the news. You know me, I usually keep my personal life separate from my music because my focus is always on spreading love and positivity through my music and performances for all of you wonderful people,” penned Nene.
Nene then addressed Bright as a warm person who makes her laugh more, accepts her, and supports her.
“Bright is a warm person. We support each other when things are tough and celebrate together when we’re happy. Those who have been following me know that I am always honest about my feelings. Feelings are what drive me and fuel my creativity, inspiring me to write both sad and love songs. Love motivates me to be a better person, filling my heart with warmth every day,” she stated.
“When we are together, I find myself laughing more, smiling brighter, and feeling unafraid to take risks. Because I know there will always be someone to accept me, support me, and catch me if I fall,” continued Nene.
Bright and Nene first worked together in the Thai hit BL series “2gether The Series”, where the former portrayed the role of Sarawat alongside Win Metawin as Tine, and Nene, as one of the supporting roles, Air.
