4th Impact group member Almira has taken to social media to address the online hate they’ve been receiving following the controversy surrounding their 200 Shih Tzu dogs.

Previously, the P-pop girl group launched a GoFundMe campaign to fund a larger home for their dogs. The initial five gifts from fans, however, had multiplied to 200, leading to noise complaints from neighbors.

However, a photo of the four attending Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” was later posted on their social media account, which angered a lot of netizens as they seemingly had the funds to buy tickets for the show but did not have enough to support their dogs.

In her Instagram post, Almira, who was the eldest in the group, expressed her sadness regarding the whole issue and said that she felt the need to protect her siblings.

She further explained that the five Shih Tzus that the group received were from different fans and were not related. The sole male dog mated with most of the female ones, which caused them to multiply quickly.

Due to the number of dogs causing a lot of noise, the group received complaints from their neighbor, which led her to make a GoFundMe page as she believed that their fans would be supporting her in putting up a farm for the dogs.

Following the news of the girls’ attendance at the “Eras Tour” and the negative comments they received, Almira deleted the page and refunded the money fans had sent afterward. She clarified that the group’s attendance of the “Eras Tour” was not in Singapore but in Los Angeles at the Sofi Stadium in Aug 2023 and that their tickets were gifts from dedicated fans.

Almira asserted that the group will continue to work hard to purchase a farm for their dog and pay for all of their needs. She urged the public to stop using social media to spread hate towards them and stated that 4th Impact will continue its journey in the music industry.

4th Impact is composed of four sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado. They rose to popularity following their time on the singing contest “The X Factor” where they reached the Top 5.
