Former Miss Universe 2015 second runner-up Olivia Jordan addressed the recent stir caused by comments from fellow contestant Ariadna Gutierrez.
During her stint on the reality show “La Casa de los Famosos”, Ariadna referred to Olivia as “bruja”, which translates to “witch” in English.
It can be recalled that television host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Ariadna as the Miss Universe 2015 winner instead of the Philippines’ bet Pia Wurtzbach. Olivia was with Pia and Ariadna during the mishap.
On the other hand, Olivia took to Instagram to share her thoughts.
On her Instagram stories, the former beauty queen acknowledged the “drama in the pageant community” surrounding the comment but emphasized that she had moved on from pageantry. Having left that world behind years ago, Olivia found such matters “almost laughable” now.
“For those of you who don’t know, there’s been some drama in the pageant community that I have been looped into. Y’all, I left the pageants eight years ago,” said Olivia.
“This is so far removed from my normal life that it is almost laughable, but I truly appreciate the support of everyone spreading kindness. I appreciate the support of the people that have always known and understood my heart—that I have never intentionally come from a bad place,” she added.
On the other hand, in a post shared on April 2, Tuesday, Olivia cryptically addressed the issue.
“A lot of unexpected engagement on my page this weekend. Just want to say, thank you so much for stopping by. I want to share a little love and kindness meditation that has changed my life.
