Eager to bring joy to the homes of viewers, GMA Entertainment Group’s newest campaign “Basta’t Sama Sama…Best Time Ever” featured several of its well-loved shows that people can watch together with their families and friends.
“If you say it’s the best time ever, it’s a big deal that you’re not alone, that you’re together because sometimes if you’re alone and celebrating, you’ll think ‘I wish I had someone to celebrate with,’ right? Now we’re celebrating that. Not just one, not just two shows but a lot of shows on GMA,” said Dingdong Dantes, who serves as the host of the game show Family Feud and the informative show Amazing Earth.
Celebrating its second anniversary, Family Feud had a week-long anniversary special that featured the cast of Running Man Philippines, some of the members of Sparkle 10, the former cast of Walang Tulugan, and Marian Rivera who made a special appearance on the show to support her co-stars in the drama sci-fi show My Guardian Alien.
Dantes also shared that for the 300th episode of Amazing Earth, renowned comedian Michael V will serve as a guest and will be showcasing his adventurous side as he goes on to explore places he has never been before.
Meanwhile, Bubble Gang, the country’s longest-running gag show which has been going on for 28 years, is set to air its two-part summer special. One of the show’s mainstays, Paolo Contis, attributed the show’s continued success to its ability to give the viewers what they want to see.
“I think that’s the ultimate secret of Bubble Gang, whatever people want, that’s what we give them, but as much as possible, of course, you still include some old things to adapt,” said Contis during the media conference.
Meanwhile, Michael V’s award-winning family sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy ang Kuwento is in its 14th year and will also be having an upcoming two-part out-of-town episode special.
Reality show Running Man Philippines is set to premiere its second season on May 11 featuring its winter edition which was shot entirely in South Korea. Runners Glaiza de Castro, Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy de Santos, Lexi Gonzales, Angel Guardian, Buboy Villar, and Mikael Daez will be joined by several special guests in the upcoming season.
Other shows that are part of the “Best Time Ever” campaign are the iconic talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, comedy talk show The Boobay and Tekla Show hosted by comedian Boobay and Super Tekla, and a brand new version of infotainment show I-Bilib which is hosted by former athlete Chris Tiu and actress Shaira Diaz.
