Actress and dancer Chie Filomeno revealed that fellow artist and friend, Kathryn Bernardo is doing well following her breakup with former boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
In an interview during the opening of Landers Fairview, Chie also shared that Kathryn is currently feeling at peace.
“Yes, as she said, she’s at peace,” said Chie.
The “Can’t Buy Me Love” star also mentioned how she supported Kathryn after the breakup in November last year.
“I comforted her in a way that if she needs someone to talk to, we’re here. If she needs quiet, we stay quiet. We just stay together in a room, like that,” she explained.
Chie related herself to her character, Jersey, in the television series Can’t Buy Me Love, which stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
“Because Jersey is the kind of person who will support her friend no matter what, but in a reasonable way. She will tell you what you need to hear. And I hope we all have our own Jersey in our lives because you can’t always have a friend who filters everything. You also need to hear what you need to hear,” Chie stated.
“That’s how I am. But you see, people act a certain way because of the things they’ve been through. So, I try to understand why they think that way. I don’t have any judgment,” she added.
