With Tom Rodriguez returning to the country after over two years in the US, Carla Abellana expresses her readiness to potentially encounter him, considering they are both part of the same industry and contract stars of GMA-7.

She shares that she didn’t know about his arrival, emphasizing she doesn’t feel intimidated, scared, or nervous about the prospect.

Carla acknowledges it’s expected due to his obligations to their mother network. She asserts her readiness to face him if their paths cross, stating she’s not the type to avoid the scenario.

The be-dimpled actress stresses that she has already moved on from their marital split.

“At this point, I’ve already found peace. I’ve already closed that sad chapter in my life. It’s more than just moving on. I’m in a happy state. I’m happy with my life and with where and who I am now!”

Interestingly, is she ready to open the door of friendship to Tom if ever?

“I believe that sometimes, the things you don’t expect to happen. Life has lots of irony. Many unpredictable things do come true. I don’t want to end my sentence with a period. Let’s see in the coming days,” Carla.

In its recent media conference, the entertainment press applauded the trailer of GMA’s Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis (Season 2) headlined by Senator Bong Revilla, Jr. and Beauty Gonzalez. The general observation is that the material is a movie made for television.

“Well, I’m happy and proud of the show. It’s big-budgeted for one. There are lots of spectacular sequences. I’m confident that the viewers will be amazed by the action scenes apart from the comedy, of course,” Bong states.

Considering the grandiosity of the production, some entertainment scribes asked if it was possible to make it a daily primetime series.

“Honestly, it will be hard on my part if the show will run daily. It will require longer taping hours which is difficult. Well, I’m not getting any younger. I need to have sufficient sleep. Perhaps, if I’m not in the Senate, that’s possible.”

Bong says that he is already okay with his present work set-up.

“Time management is very important. I always manage my time so that I see to it that no one or nothing gets sacrificed. My life is in perfect balance. I have time for my family, as a public servant, and for my acting career!”
